Everyone at Uttoxeter Juniors is incredibly proud to announce that Henry Timmins has signed with Burton Albion for the upcoming U9 season!

Over the past three seasons, Henry has been a standout performer in every sense of the word. While his incredible record of 130+ goals speaks volumes, it’s the way he impacted games that truly set him apart.

Henry had an unmatched ability to drive the team forward, often collecting the ball deep and carrying it with purpose and power. He dictated the tempo, broke through opposition lines, and regularly turned defence into attack with moments of sheer brilliance. He didn’t just contribute — he took control, setting the tone and lifting those around him.

Possessing a fierce desire to win, Henry brought intensity, focus, and resilience to every match. He was the heartbeat of the team, delivering big performances in big moments, always rising to the occasion. Week in, week out, he showed maturity beyond his years, combining technical quality with the kind of mentality every coach dreams of.

It wasn’t long before academy scouts began to take notice — and soon Henry became hot property across the Midlands, attracting interest from several top academies thanks to his consistently high-level performances and winning mentality.

We are delighted for Henry and his family as he takes this well-earned step into the Academy setup. Burton Albion are getting a top player and an even better attitude — and we’ve no doubt he’ll continue to grow, learn, and make a huge impression in the years ahead.

And of course, as a proud Sunderland fan, there’s no doubt Henry will bring plenty of that North East passion and never-say-die spirit with him into this exciting new chapter!
